Glass Wool Plant from Recycled Glass
The plant recycles waste white glass from its sources to be used in the production of glass wool. Glass wool is a thermally insulating material made from glued glass fibers on a face similar to wool fibers. Glass wool is made of material produced by glass smelting and then converted to fibers not exceeding 10 microns in a centrifugal manner. Semi-rigid plates is formed by adding fiberglass bonding material to fiber glass. These panels may contain protective coatings (from reflective aluminum foil or polycarbonate foils) Ethylene or flame retardant paper). Glass wool is available in several forms used for thermal insulation such as: loose fibers, stitched mats, felt, hardboard.
